Intro to Fusing: Coasters (February)

February 24th, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Lindsy Marshall |

Learn the process of fused glass sculpture in this introductory class. We will be taking flat sheet glass and learning how to cut, shape, and melt different pieces together as one homogenous piece of glass to create a coaster. From this process you can learn how important a kiln is, how glass can be manipulated in multiple ways, and how to play with glass!

What to Expect: Students will create 4 glass coasters of their own simple design. Read more about how to prepare for class on our Registration Info page.

Eligibility: No previous experience required. Open to ages 14 and up.

Pick-up: The glass will need to be in a kiln at least overnight, so the students will have to return to UrbanGlass once notified to pick up their work.

This is an in-person class taking place on-site at UrbanGlass. Health and safety guidelines will be emailed to you upon registration.
